Get to Know Shannon

I’ve been married for 34 years to my wise, kind, and extraordinarily patient husband, Doug. Together, we’ve raised four adult children and now delight in being grandparents to three amazing granddaughters.

Relationships matter deeply to me. I cherish time with family and friends, and my greatest joy is found in simply being present with the people I love.

The most significant relationship in my life is

with Jesus

I came to know Him as a young girl, but it wasn’t until I was twenty-four that I truly understood He was also my Lord. As I began to grasp the depth of His love and the supremacy of Christ, I surrendered myself fully to following Him—wherever and however He chooses to lead.

Why I Do What I Do

I feel called to come alongside women who are hungry for spiritual truth and genuine life change—to help them understand Scripture and apply it in ways that are practical, thoughtful, and deeply personal.

I don’t come as someone who has it all figured out, but as a fellow learner and sojourner. I believe God’s Word is living and active, and that when we learn how to study it for ourselves, it has the power to transform how we think, live, and walk forward in faith.

My hope is that every woman who lands here feels seen, known, and reminded that God accepts her where she is—but loves her too much to leave her there.

I’m a native Floridian and enjoy the beach, but my favorite escape is the mountains. I love the cooler air, sweeping views, slower pace, and the gift of quiet—where spotty cell service, long walks, and even afternoon naps feel like a grace rather than a luxury.

  • I love talking about Jesus, but as an introvert, I’m rarely the one to start the conversation.
  • I struggle with social anxiety and still feel nervous every time I teach or speak.
